Batman: The Dark Knight

In the opening scene the film is consider a thriller because of using narrative devices such as: omniscient, enigma code, action code, protagonist, antagonist, linear and simultaneous action.

The omniscient narration of the film is near the beginning of the opening scene where we the audience know that the Joker is within the bank robbery, but the rest of the gang don't know. In addition, when he starts killing some of them one of them he goes unnoticed. As for the enigma code is when the antagonist who is the accountant trying to be the hero, which he sits near his desk and makes you wounder what he is going to do. In the processes he tries to encounter the bank robbers, but end up being shot and gassed.

The action code and linear structure of the opening scene is that the robbers are to capture the money from the bank. In which the robbers head to the bank, then capture the money from the bank; while in the processes of killing each other. As in the end of the scene the Joker is seen leaving the scene before the police come. Moreover, the simultaneous actions being used in the opening scene is when it displays what the robbers are doing at the same time, but in different locations.
